Got a very early Monday morning appointment last week and was greeted by many enthusiastic and smiling staff members (which is always nice). I let them know that I was a bit worried about one eye in particular and they made sure to thoroughly check to make sure nothing was wrong, which was very reassuring on my part. The lass who performed my checkup (Urmi I believe) also made sure to explain everything to me regarding what was going on and about what I needed to do about my prescription. A++ for the whole team ;) The only improvement I want to mention is for the online booking system though, and whilst fairly easy to use I found there were a few oddities with the system. I initially chose a different day which gave me times for opticians but not for the location I wanted. I found it odd that it didn't even mention the location except when appointments were available. If I did not already know of the opticians then I wouldn't have been able to find it by going to a different day. Since I can't drive this opticians was the only one I could easily get to by bus. Just my view but I think it might be better to say all the close locations and just state no appointments on that day then not showing the location at all.

Had my appointment on 11/04/2017 with Sonam Ruparelia optometrist who was really nice and made me feel at ease straight away . She explained things thoroughly as we progressed through the eye examination and answered all my questions with ease. I found her really helpful,friendly and understanding. Once my eye test was done I was introduced to Anne she was really nice and helped me choose 2 pair of glasses one for reading and the other for distance. She explained to me about the fit of glasses on the bridge of the nose. She helped me to get a better fit rather than my usual choice which feel ok in the shop but wearing on a daily basis pinches the side of my nose so much that I struggle to wear then and end up with a headache. I asked Anne if I could get quotes rather than purchase then straightaway, she was great I didn't feel pressured by any hard sell which was a relief. Once we were all done I thanked her for her help which I really appreciated as picking glasses is not the easiest of things for me to do. As a consequence, both members of staff made the experience of having an eye test and choosing glasses a better one I would definitely recommend this Boots opticians.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Anne advised me on my glasses choice and did a great job explaining the different options. I'm very satisfied with my visit
